Help for the user discussion board: questions, feedback, and tips on the portal, meters, and gateways.
Access
The discussion board is open to all signed-in users with approved accounts — every registered user can read and take part in every topic. Users with temporary passwords must change their password before posting.
Categories
- Portal Feedback — suggestions, problems, or questions about this web portal itself.
- Meter Operation — using the anode drop meters: measurement, menus, SD cards, batteries, firmware.
- Gateway & Service — the plant gateway service: installation, meter connections, WiFi transfers, updates.
- General — anything related that does not fit the categories above.
Topics and Replies
- Use Start a Topic to open a new discussion: pick a category, give it a clear title, and write the first message.
- Open a topic from the list to read it and post a reply. Each topic has its own address, so links can be shared with other users.
- Messages are plain text; blank lines and line breaks are kept as typed.
- You can Edit your own messages; edited messages show an "edited" timestamp. Other users' messages cannot be edited.
- The Home page shows the five most recently active topics.
Moderation
C-Born administrators moderate the board. A locked topic stays readable but takes no further replies or edits. Administrators can also hide individual messages or whole topics; hidden content disappears for regular users but is kept and can be restored. See Administration Help for the admin controls.
